This time we got our pens and markers out. We were on a mission to map up where we could find wildlife in Malta, Comino and Gozo.

A small group this time, but we made it work! We started off learning a bit about what strange and unique animals can be found in Malta. Charles Bennett, a Conservation Scientist started off the session with everyone drawing on their own map, where snakes could be found, rabbits, special birds, flowers, killifish, sharks, painted frogs, jelly fish etc. Everyone had their own individual map - finished off with all the important things a map needed to have. Scale bars, the North Arrow etc. We even had to mark down the Hospital, airport, Mdina and other points of reference.

Once we filled our own individual maps up, and everyone was happy with what species were in Malta, where they could be found, and learnt a bit more about a species' ecology, we moved onto a large piece of paper where worked together to draw up a larger version.

Check out the process!
